This breathtaking place allows you to witness
the wetlands returning once again.
I feel as though I’m walking back in time
seeing this land and its habitat
cycle back to its origins.
The beauty found here along this stream
teaches me that cycling back to my own origins,
removing the distractions and contraptions
and opening up to the original blueprint,
the gift from the beginning offers simplicity
and replenishment.

though I’ve never been here,
I did indeed enter as I painted my way into this scene from a photo of South Africa.
Calm with it’s dim lit sky and hopeful sliver of blue….
